County Club of the Rockies Golf Course Snow Shoe Track
Arrowhead at Vail Association and Country Club of the Rockies have agreed to maintain a Snow Shoe Track on the golf course in Arrowhead this winter for Arrowhead property owners’ use. The track will be “groomed” as it snows and will be on the south side of Highway 6. The best place to start would be at the CCR Club House. Hopefully, the track will be ready in late December or early January, depending on snow amounts. If you bring your dog with you, please remember to pick up after it. This is being done on a trial basis & CCR Maintenance staff will assess any turf damage in the spring and decide if they will allow it again next year.
The Association has also partnered with Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch to greatly improve the snowshoeing experience for Arrowhead property owners and guests. A map focusing on snowshoe and nordic trails is available at the Arrowhead Ticket Office and the Alpine Club and on our web site. The trails are maintained and compacted as it snows, or on a weekly basis where accessible by snowmobile.
